Pax is a church management platform for pastors and ministry staff. Your church is set up as a single organization, and every person, prayer request, note, pastoral response, and directory entry belongs to it. Each staff member and volunteer signs in as their own user but works from the same shared, always-current information.
Everything you do is available on the web app and in the native iOS and Android apps, and it stays in sync across every device you sign in on.
Start from the sign-up flow on the Pax website. You'll choose a name for your church and a subdomain (for example, firstbaptist.paxapp.org), then set up billing so your subscription is active.
Because a brand-new subdomain may not have its security certificate ready in the first few minutes, the billing and setup steps run on the main Pax domain. Once setup is complete, your church's subdomain becomes your home for day-to-day work.
Pax uses passwordless magic-link sign-in. Enter your email address and Pax emails you a secure link — tap it and you're in. There is no password to create, forget, or reset.
From your staff tools, invite each team member by email or by sharing a sign-up QR code. Each person becomes their own user in your organization with their own magic-link sign-in.
When you invite someone, you choose their role, which controls what they can see and do. You can invite as many staff as your plan includes and adjust roles at any time.

Export your data from your current system, upload the file in Pax, and the matching adapter maps it into contacts, households, and relationships. If you're moving from a system not listed here, contact support and we'll help you plan the migration.
