Church Directory

Publish a live, consent-based photo directory your members can browse on any device — never out of date, never reprinted.

The directory is an always-current, browsable photo directory of your congregation. Because it's drawn from your live records, it updates the moment a photo or address changes — no more printing a booklet that's out of date the week it arrives.

Visibility is consent-based. People are listed the way they've agreed to be shown, and households are grouped together. Signed-in members of your church browse the directory; it isn't a public page on the open internet.

Staff decide whether the directory is enabled for your church at all, so you're always in control of what's shared.

Contacts and households can have a photo, and that photo flows into the directory. A person's effective photo falls back gracefully — for example, to a household photo or a default — so entries still look complete even before everyone has uploaded a picture.

Yes. Pax includes a contact-photo approval workflow so staff can review submitted photos before they appear. This keeps the directory tasteful and consistent, especially when members are uploading their own pictures.

Absolutely. The directory works in the native iOS and Android apps and in the web app, so members can look up a face or a family from anywhere. Directory availability is a feature your church can turn on as part of your plan.
