Account, Billing & Security

Manage your subscription, control who can do what, and understand how Pax protects your congregation's information.

Pax is a subscription billed to your church. Your price is based on how many staff seats you need and which optional features you enable — for example, the live directory. You can review the full breakdown on the Pricing page and change your plan as your ministry grows.

Pax has three roles that control access:

  • Staff — full access to contacts, pastoral response, visitation, messaging, import, and more.
  • Called staff — ordained or called ministry staff, treated as staff for access.
  • Member — a focused, private view: edit their own record, browse the directory, and submit prayer requests.

You assign a role when you invite someone and can change it later as responsibilities shift.

Yes. Staff can switch into the member view from their account to see exactly what a member experiences. It's a helpful way to check what's shared before you turn on the directory or invite your congregation.

Security and privacy are built into Pax from the ground up. Sign-in is passwordless, sessions are protected, and each church's data is strictly separated from every other church's. We never sell your data or serve advertising — your subscription is what funds Pax, so your people's information never becomes the product.

Any time. Export your records to Excel, PDF, Word, or Markdown for reports, backups, or a full copy of your information. There's no lock-in — if you ever leave, your data comes with you.

Before canceling, export a full copy of your records in the format you prefer. After cancellation, your data is retained and then removed in line with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing terms. You're never held hostage to keep access to your own information.
